Quality venues are vital to the continued growth of football. Importantly, these venues need to be properly managed, and the key to this is through strong participation and judicious usage.
As the demand for additional pitches grows it is essential that FV works with all stakeholders to improve Club and Facility Management. Our LGA partners need FV assistance to work with Clubs to ensure that we can maximise the use of existing space.
Football Victoria, with assistance from Football NSW, has now produced several Facility Guides, building on our ‘State Football Facility Strategy to 2026’ to deliver sustainable and vibrant football facilities into the future. The Facility Guides have been prepared by FV to provide guidance to football clubs and associations and local government authorities (LGA’s) regarding football facility development and upgrade projects.
